HEAD TAX
Following each USAG-sanctioned event in Georgia, meet directors submit a Head Tax fee to the SACC (Becky Oppenheimer) for every non-refunded athlete entry:
First 500 athletes: $2.00 per athlete
501+ athletes: $3.00 per athlete
Applies to all participating athletes regardless of state residence. These fees serve as the primary funding source for Georgia Women's USAG programs.
How is it used?
-
Georgia Women's USAG pays Regional Entry fees directly for:
All Level 9 and 10 regional qualifiers (excluding petitions).
All Level 6, 7, and 8 Regional State Team members.
All Xcel Gold Regional State Team members.
-
Regional Gifts: Provided free to all Level 6–10 and Xcel regional qualifiers (excluding petitions).
State Team Apparel: Competition leotard, jacket, and leggings provided for Level 6/7/8 and Xcel Gold State Team members.
Coaches’ Gear: Official team shirts provided for floor coaches at the State Team competition.
-
Senior Recognition: Graduating seniors receive a personalized gift and photo signing board display at the State Meet.
Tim Rand Fund: Contributions support Region 8 entry fees and apparel for athletes qualifying for Level 9 Easterns and Level 10 Nationals.
-
Head Tax funds also support state administration, including website hosting, email communications, SAC travel, USAG memberships, judges' education donations, and Club of the Year recognition.
