Present: Jackie Estes, Brock White, Peggy Simpson, Jay Clark, Judy Prestiagiacomo, Wynne Hernandez, Sheila Ragle, Marian Dykes-Non Voting, Kim Joye, Becky Oppenheimer (Marilyn Bishop and Michelle Pomerantz arrived during meeting).
The Level 8 team will receive a warm-up leo + team leo. Level 9 and 10 will receive a warm-up leo, jacket and shorts.
The Regional Apparel State Account received donations as follows:
NAWGJ $150.00
Regional Congress (Sheila Ragle and Marian Dykes) $150.00
GGCA $500.00
The holiday party was a great success. Thank you to Julie Ballard for all her help. The GGCA will host the holiday party in 1999. The GA-NAWGJ, GGCA, GA-USAG and GA-AAU will split the cost of the holiday party each year.
Each USA Board Member signed a confidentiality form. Board members were asked to turn in these forms before leaving the meeting.
The Board set up a committee to compile and present criteria for judge’s selection to the GA-USAG board for the Level 4-6, 5 and 8-9-10 State Meets. Judy Prestigiacomo, Peggy Simpson and Sheila Ragle were named to this committee.
Sheila will give the Skill Evaluator test on January 18, 1999.
Special thanks to Jay Clark and the Classic City Booster Club for doing a great job at the Level 5 State Meet.
If a board member sends a representative because he cannot attend, he must notify Jackie before the meeting. This representative will need to leave after his report is completed.
A recommendation was given to give one written warning to coaches who do not bring their USA card to state meets. The second violation will receive a $25.00 fine.
