GEORGIA STATE USAG BOARD MEETING
DECEMBER 6, 1998


  1. ROLL CALL

    2. Present: Jackie Estes, Brock White, Peggy Simpson, Jay Clark, Judy Prestiagiacomo, Wynne Hernandez, Sheila Ragle, Marian Dykes-Non Voting, Kim Joye, Becky Oppenheimer (Marilyn Bishop and Michelle Pomerantz arrived during meeting).

  2. REGIONAL APPAREL

    3. The Level 8 team will receive a warm-up leo + team leo. Level 9 and 10 will receive a warm-up leo, jacket and shorts.

    The Regional Apparel State Account received donations as follows:

    NAWGJ $150.00

    Regional Congress (Sheila Ragle and Marian Dykes) $150.00

    GGCA $500.00

  3. HOLIDAY PARTY

    4. The holiday party was a great success. Thank you to Julie Ballard for all her help. The GGCA will host the holiday party in 1999. The GA-NAWGJ, GGCA, GA-USAG and GA-AAU will split the cost of the holiday party each year.

  4. CONFIDENTIALITY FORMS

    5. Each USA Board Member signed a confidentiality form. Board members were asked to turn in these forms before leaving the meeting.

  5. STATE MEET JUDGING ASSIGNMENTS

    6. The Board set up a committee to compile and present criteria for judge’s selection to the GA-USAG board for the Level 4-6, 5 and 8-9-10 State Meets. Judy Prestigiacomo, Peggy Simpson and Sheila Ragle were named to this committee.

  6. SKILL EVALUATOR TEST

    7. Sheila will give the Skill Evaluator test on January 18, 1999.

  7. LEVEL 5 STATE MEET

    8. Special thanks to Jay Clark and the Classic City Booster Club for doing a great job at the Level 5 State Meet.

  8. BOARD MEMBERS REPRESENTATIVE

    9. If a board member sends a representative because he cannot attend, he must notify Jackie before the meeting. This representative will need to leave after his report is completed.

  9. USAG CREDENTIALS MUST BE WORN AT ALL USAG-SANCTIONED MEETS (State Rule)

    10. A recommendation was given to give one written warning to coaches who do not bring their USA card to state meets. The second violation will receive a $25.00 fine.

  11. JUDGES SELECTION FOR OPTIONAL STATE MEET

    12. Optional state meet judging assignments will be made by the Meet Referee, Sheila Ragle, by Friday, January 1, 1999.
