Meeting called to order by Peggy Simpson, Chair, at 1:30 p.m.
New Business:
- Regarding State In-Gym Cards, it was suggested that judges use a variety of gyms rather than going to one specific gym for all six hours.
- Judges Selection for the 2003-2004 USA State Meets was presented by Jean DeArmon, GA-NAWGJ President
- It was decided to, for a trial year, assign an assistant Meet Referee as is done at many large meets, including SEC Championships and Level 10 Nationals.
- The fee for the assistant Meet Referee will be funded by the NAWGJ and Georgia USAG to avoid increasing the total judges' fee.
- There is a proposal to add USA Level 2 and 3 competition and state meet for 2004. The Board was asked to discuss this with coaches during the year, giving Peggy Simpson, Chair, feedback. The proposed USA Level 2 and 3 State Meet would occur during November, 2004.
- A 2nd banner will be awarded for the tie at Level 7 State. The state championship banner will be sent to Gwinnett Gymnastics by Debbie Roe.
- Peggy will mail the State Meet Directors Packet to Brock for his re-typing and updating.
- Panels, with the addition of an assistant meet referee, were approved by the Board as presented by Jean DeArmon
