Level 4/6 State Meet – Dec. 1-2 - Cartersville Twisters
Motion to award bid to Cartersville with a contingency that they are given three weeks to find an appropriate outside facility. If an outside facility is not secured in three weeks the bid will be awarded to Classic City

As of June 14th Cartersville Twisters withdraw bid. Level 4/6 State was awarded to Classic City.
Level 5 State Meet -Dec. 8-9th - Haydens International Gymnastics Center
Motion to award bid to Haydens with a contingency that they are given three weeks to find an appropriate outside facility. If an outside facility is not secured in three weeks the bid will be awarded to Tucker Recreation

Entry Fees:
Compulsory Meets (L4/6 & L 5) $50.00 fee for inside facility; $65.00 for outside facility.

Gate Fees:
Motion to raise the fees to $6.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Children at all State Meets.

Late Fees:
Late fees for State Meets will remain the same as last year $100.00 late fee for all clubs that turn in State Meet entries after the deadline, $25.00 late fee for each gymnast’s entry that is turned in after the deadline. A $25.00 fee will be charged for each meet result that is not turned in to Kim Joye on time.

Apparel:
A committee of board members was assembled to put together an apparel budget for the upcoming 2001-2002 season. This committee consists of Judy Prestigiacomo, Michelle Pomerantz and Susan Durning

Awards:
A recommendation to keep awards the same as last year. (50% - half medals and half ribbons)

Mini Congress:
This years Regional Mini Congres will be held the weekend of Oct 11-13th. It will be held at the Alpharetta Marriott on Windward Parkway. There will be a Safety Certification Course Saturday morning Oct. 13,2001. Sessions will start Thursday at 1:00 and run thru Saturday. Friday night will be the Banquet and the Silent Auction. Level 8.9 & 10 Training Camp will be that same weekend and is being held at Roswell Gymnastics. Training Camp will only be held on Saturday and Sunday. A recommendation to have every gym in the state donate a basket for the Silent Auction was suggested.

GGCA Clinic:
The annual GGCA Clinic will be held July 21-22,2001 at Roswell Gymnastics. A GGCA Meeting will be held at this time and “Coach of the Year” awards will be given out.

Next Board Meeting will be held at Level 5 State Meet. Time and day will be determined after the schedule for State is done.
