Georgia USAG Board Meeting

Meeting called to order by Peggy Simpson, Chair, at 6:15 p.m.
This meeting's agenda was focused on the dates and particulars of the 2004-2005 USA State Meets.
New Business:
- Dates for the 2004-2005 Georgia USAG State Meets (M/S/P):
USA Level 2 and 6 State November 20-21, 2004
USA Level 5 State December 4-5, 2004
USA Level 3 and 4 State December 11-12, 20
04 USA Level 8, 9 and 10 State March 19-20, 2005
USA Level 7 State April 2-3, 2005
When Peggy sends out bid forms for these meets, she will include Brock White's fax and email to keep the published calendar up-to-date. - Regional Competition Dates:
Level 8 Regionals April 9-10, 2005
Level 9/10 Regionals April 15-16-17, 2005
Level 9 Easterns May 7-8, 2005
Level 10 Nationals May 13-14-15, 2005 - Compulsory Team Format for 2004 (M/S/P):
- Team Competition will be the top 12 qualifying teams
- Each team will warm-up 6, compete 5 and count 3 for team totals.
- USA Level 3 will compete after the Level 4's and USA Level 2 will compete after the Level 6's during the 2 hour break between competition and team competition.
- For the 2005 season, the Optional State Meet will have Level 9's and 10's compete on Saturday and Level 8's all day Sunday (M/S/P)
- The USAG Summer Clinic will be July 30-31st, 2004 at Tucker Rec.
- Items for consideration at the summer meeting:
- Late Fees and Fines
- Competition format for Level 7 (possible warm up/compete)
- Possible event/all around competition at Level 7 State
- Competition format for Level 8-9-10
The next meeting will be a breakfast meeting at Region 8 Congress, Nashville TN: - 8:00 a.m. on June 5, 2004.
