Charles Harrod
As many of you all know the Georgia gymnastics has recently lost a family member, Ultimate Gymnastics Coach Charles Harrod. In an effort to help Charles family with the costs related to this tragedy, USAG - Georgia has set up a fund on Charles behalf. Charles’ love for all of the kids he coached here in Georgia, Arizona and Texas will live in their hearts forever. His friends will remember him and the time we spent with him and smile. Some of us will remember him as a son and a brother. He will be remembered by many.
Please send your contributions made payable to GAUSA Gymnastics/ Charles Harrod

Letter From Brad Harris
I am extremely proud and honored to be Region 8's new JO Chairman. I must say however, that I begin my term with a terribly saddened heart. In June, at Region 8 Congress in Atlanta, I was approached by Tim & Toni Rand and notified of Tim's intention of running for the J.O. position due to the fact they both had knowledge of my nomination and desire to volunteer for the chairmanship. I immediately felt, that if Tim wanted the job, he had earned that right and deserved it. At that point I declined my nomination and swore my support to Tim. With the recent passing of Mr. Rand I felt a strong obligation to honor the memory of one of my true mentors and the calling of those who nominated me in the first place.
